There is no need to rush. Begin with a wave or a hello from a trusted adult's side, then let the child choose whether to approach.
Offer watching as a valid choice alongside a group activity or optional pictures. Avoid making any child take a turn in front of everyone.
Have the party timing, requested theme and participation preferences ready. Ask our team about the program, then confirm costs and availability.
A thoughtful plan for Urb Notre Dame starts with a simple sequence: welcome the character, give the birthday child time to decide how close to stand, then offer an activity or photo. Guests can join when they feel ready, while others watch with a caregiver. Ask us about the character theme you are considering and confirm visit details, costs and availability with our team. Before the gathering, tell the organizer who will guide the children and where everyone should meet for the greeting.
Useful rules and places to check, each with its official source.
For any outdoor gathering, arrange an accessible indoor backup before the party. National Weather Service guidance identifies buildings with wiring and plumbing as stronger protection; an open picnic shelter is not a lightning backup. This is national planning guidance, not a local venue rule.
Official source (opens in a new tab)Choose an adult to monitor the forecast and decide when to move the group indoors. National Weather Service guidance calls for a designated weather monitor; confirm a practical route to the backup space with the venue. This does not establish local permits, shelter reservations or entertainer availability.
