Tell us your kid’s name and how to say it, what they love, and what makes them shy. Your notes go to the performer with the booking, so the hour is about your kid.
Still wondering? Call (866) 306-1384 and talk to a person.
Either order can work. A group hello first may help a shy child get comfortable before a personal greeting.
Let the child choose whether to stand beside the character, with a parent, or simply watch.
Ask us about the requested theme and confirm the planned program, cost and availability with our team.
For an Arthur, Tennessee, celebration, give the birthday child a gentle entrance into the visit: the character can greet everyone first, then offer a wave or photo when the child feels ready. A short activity with optional participation can keep the moment welcoming for shy guests too. If you are considering a state-managed property, check with its operator rather than assuming a gathering is allowed. Ask us about the theme, and confirm program details, cost and availability with our team.
Useful rules and places to check, each with its official source.
Tennessee's Department of Environment and Conservation identifies its role in managing state parks and natural areas. Find the exact state-managed property and ask its operator about reservable gathering space, facilities and access conditions. Describe hired entertainment before booking; the agency overview does not establish birthday eligibility, event permission or availability.
Official source (opens in a new tab)For any outdoor gathering, arrange an accessible indoor backup before the party. National Weather Service guidance identifies buildings with wiring and plumbing as stronger protection; an open picnic shelter is not a lightning backup. This is national planning guidance, not a local venue rule.
