Keep it brief and let the child decide whether to wave, speak or stay beside a caregiver.
Check the allowed hours, setup and whether hired entertainment is permitted; a reservation alone may not answer that.
No. Treat activities as planning ideas and confirm the requested program, costs and availability with our team.
For a Bear Creek, North Carolina, birthday, start by fitting the character visit into the space's approved time. A short, predictable program can help children settle: greet the birthday child, offer a photo moment and invite guests to join a simple activity. Let children choose whether to participate or observe. Program ideas are parent suggestions, not guaranteed inclusions. Ask us about a character visit, and confirm the program, costs and availability with our team before finalizing the party schedule.

North Carolina State Parks notes that facilities can have limited hours. Check the exact shelter or room's permitted use period, layout and reservation conditions before setting the entertainer's arrival and departure times. Ask the park about hired entertainment separately; a facility reservation does not establish approval for all party activities.

National Weather Service guidance identifies buildings with wiring and plumbing as stronger protection; an open picnic shelter is not a lightning backup. This is national planning guidance, not a local venue rule.
