Let the character greet from a comfortable distance first. The child can wave, approach with a caregiver or wait for a photo until they feel ready.
Confirm the reserved space's access, amenities and conditions for hired entertainment. Do not assume an enclosed shelter listing means every activity is permitted.
No. Ask us to confirm the planned program, costs and availability for your date and gathering.
A Bowdon party plan starts with knowing which kind of gathering space is reserved. State park information distinguishes enclosed group shelters from open picnic shelters, so check the actual facility and its conditions before building a character visit around it. Keep the visit manageable: a gentle hello, an optional birthday-child photo, then a short group moment where guests may join or watch. The organizer should also arrange an indoor weather backup if the gathering is outdoors and confirm that hired entertainment is permitted.
Useful rules and places to check, each with its official source.
Georgia State Parks distinguishes different gathering facilities, including enclosed group shelters and open picnic shelters. Contact the relevant park before reserving to verify the actual room or shelter amenities, access and conditions. Confirm permission for hired entertainment; an enclosed facility listing does not guarantee that every proposed party activity is allowed.
Official source (opens in a new tab)For any outdoor gathering, arrange an accessible indoor backup before the party. National Weather Service guidance identifies buildings with wiring and plumbing as stronger protection; an open picnic shelter is not a lightning backup. This is national planning guidance, not a local venue rule.
