Let them watch from a comfortable distance or stay beside a caregiver. A wave can be their whole greeting.

Ask us to confirm the theme, possible activities, timing, costs and availability. Program details should not be assumed.
In Dawson, Georgia, keep the visit flexible enough for children with different comfort levels. A short greeting followed by an optional song or photo gives guests more than one way to join. Ask us about the character theme and program ideas, and confirm the details with our team before setting the party schedule. Prepare a clear arrival area and ask one adult to help children take turns without pressure. The local advice here is statewide planning guidance, not confirmation of Dawson venues or policies.
Useful rules and places to check, each with its official source.
Georgia State Parks distinguishes different gathering facilities, including enclosed group shelters and open picnic shelters. Contact the relevant park before reserving to verify the actual room or shelter amenities, access and conditions. Confirm permission for hired entertainment; an enclosed facility listing does not guarantee that every proposed party activity is allowed.
Official source (opens in a new tab)For any outdoor gathering, arrange an accessible indoor backup before the party. National Weather Service guidance identifies buildings with wiring and plumbing as stronger protection; an open picnic shelter is not a lightning backup. This is national planning guidance, not a local venue rule.
