Let the child greet from a distance, then decide whether to come closer or join an activity.
Offer a simple group activity and optional photos. Make watching a comfortable choice too.
Confirm the exact space's amenities, access, conditions, and permission for hired entertainment. Ask us about program details, costs, and availability.
For a North Decatur gathering, think about how the room or shelter will help children move between greeting, activity, and photos without feeling crowded. Let the birthday child choose a wave or a closer hello, and invite guests to join a simple game by choice. Ask us about a manageable program, then confirm the exact facility's layout, access, and rules for hired entertainment. Statewide facility guidance is a starting point, not verification of a specific North Decatur location. Keep an indoor weather alternative in the plan. Program details, costs, and availability must be confirmed with our team.
Useful rules and places to check, each with its official source.
Georgia State Parks distinguishes different gathering facilities, including enclosed group shelters and open picnic shelters. Contact the relevant park before reserving to verify the actual room or shelter amenities, access and conditions. Confirm permission for hired entertainment; an enclosed facility listing does not guarantee that every proposed party activity is allowed.
Official source (opens in a new tab)For any outdoor gathering, arrange an accessible indoor backup before the party. National Weather Service guidance identifies buildings with wiring and plumbing as stronger protection; an open picnic shelter is not a lightning backup. This is national planning guidance, not a local venue rule.
