Offer a wave or watching from beside a parent as valid choices. Let the child decide if they want to talk or pose for a photo.
Confirm the room, setup time and permission for the activity with the venue. Choose an adult to guide arrivals and keep a photo spot clear.
No. A request is not a reservation or payment. Ask us to confirm program details, cost and availability.
North Severn Village party planning starts with the actual space, not an assumption about what a nearby facility allows. Once the organizer has confirmed a suitable location, a character can greet children with a wave and let the birthday child choose whether to join a photo or group activity. Keep a parent close for a shy child and designate an adult to direct guests. Ask the venue about capacity, setup time and entertainment permission. Share your preferred date with us; details, costs and availability need confirmation.
Useful rules and places to check, each with its official source.
As a city-scoped example within Maryland, Baltimore city recreation centers provide room rental information. Baltimore directs families to their recreation center for room rental information. Check the actual room capacity, permitted entertainment and setup time rather than assuming any recreation center can host the same program. This example applies only to Baltimore's listed municipal facilities; other cities and state-managed parks have separate operators and rules. Confirm the exact venue's reservation process and permission for hired entertainment.

National Weather Service guidance identifies buildings with wiring and plumbing as stronger protection; an open picnic shelter is not a lightning backup. This is national planning guidance, not a local venue rule.
