Offer watching from a trusted adult's side as a complete way to participate. The child can choose a wave or photo later, with no pressure to approach.
Plan a short group activity after the greeting, then arrange photos in small groups. Ask one adult to help guide turns.

In Sharon, Georgia, the first planning choice is often the room or shelter, especially if you hope to host outdoors. Verify the exact space and its conditions before settling the visit schedule. At the party, start with a friendly group greeting, then let the birthday child choose a wave or photo moment. A brief shared activity can give guests a way to join without putting one child on the spot. Send our team your preferred date and format; program details, costs and availability must be confirmed.
Useful rules and places to check, each with its official source.
Georgia State Parks distinguishes different gathering facilities, including enclosed group shelters and open picnic shelters. Contact the relevant park before reserving to verify the actual room or shelter amenities, access and conditions. Confirm permission for hired entertainment; an enclosed facility listing does not guarantee that every proposed party activity is allowed.
Official source (opens in a new tab)For any outdoor gathering, arrange an accessible indoor backup before the party. National Weather Service guidance identifies buildings with wiring and plumbing as stronger protection; an open picnic shelter is not a lightning backup. This is national planning guidance, not a local venue rule.
