Offer two easy choices, such as a wave or watching nearby. Keep photos optional and allow time for children to warm up.
Choose a gathering point, identify the adult monitoring weather and share the indoor move plan and arrival time with guests.
Confirm the requested theme and possible program details with us. Cost and availability also need confirmation; an inquiry is not a booking.
For a Bartlett, Ohio gathering, make the character visit easy for the organizer to guide and easy for children to approach. A brief welcome can lead into a choice: wave, take a photo or watch from a familiar adult. If outdoors, agree in advance on who watches the forecast and who helps guests move inside. These are statewide planning checks, not verified Bartlett facility policies. Confirm the chosen space with its operator, and confirm visit details with our team.
Useful rules and places to check, each with its official source.
For any outdoor gathering, arrange an accessible indoor backup before the party. National Weather Service guidance identifies buildings with wiring and plumbing as stronger protection; an open picnic shelter is not a lightning backup. This is national planning guidance, not a local venue rule.

National Weather Service guidance calls for a designated weather monitor; confirm a practical route to the backup space with the venue.
