Yes. Please check with the venue whether outside entertainers are permitted and what the space allows before you finalize your party plans.
Share your child's age, the approximate number of guests, the date, the start time and the kind of space you will use so the visit can be discussed in a helpful way.
Baton Rouge families planning a kids' birthday often want a costumed character who fits the party's theme, the guest list and the space where the celebration will happen. Start by picking the character your child is most excited about, then think through the venue and the length of visit you want. Our character visits begin at one hour, and longer visits are booked in 30-minute increments, such as 1.5, 2 or 2.5 hours.
Think about what your child already loves: a favorite cartoon, a superhero, a princess or a storybook hero. Bring a few names to your booking conversation so the character visit reflects your child's interests rather than a generic party. If several guests have different favorites, ask whether the character can be adapted to a shared theme such as a jungle adventure or a space mission.
Before you book, confirm the details that matter most for your event: the date and start time, the space you will use, and whether the venue permits outside entertainers. Venue rules differ from one location to another, so ask the facility directly and do not assume permission. Also ask about electrical access, an area where the character can change, and where guests can gather comfortably.
A character visit can include welcoming guests, a short story or sing-along, a game, a photo moment and a closing goodbye. These are possibilities to discuss, not included services, so talk through which ideas fit your child's age and the number of guests. Ask what can be adjusted if the party runs long or the group is younger or older than expected.
