Let children greet the character in their own way, including choosing to watch. A familiar adult can stay close while the birthday child has their special moment.
Consider a short, easy-to-follow game or a group wave, if the confirmed program allows it. Keep participation optional and avoid complicated props or rules.
Choose an arrival point, share timing with the character service and clear a small gathering area. Confirm the activity plan, costs and availability before the party.
A good Brookfield party plan gives the birthday child a small, low-pressure moment before inviting the whole group in. Start with a friendly greeting and let the child choose a wave, a conversation or a little space. Later, offer guests a simple shared activity and optional photos. Ask us about the requested costume theme, then confirm the planned program, costs and availability with our team. Before guests arrive, decide where the character will enter and where children can wait comfortably with an adult.
Useful rules and places to check, each with its official source.
Georgia State Parks distinguishes different gathering facilities, including enclosed group shelters and open picnic shelters. Contact the relevant park before reserving to verify the actual room or shelter amenities, access and conditions. Confirm permission for hired entertainment; an enclosed facility listing does not guarantee that every proposed party activity is allowed.
Official source (opens in a new tab)For any outdoor gathering, arrange an accessible indoor backup before the party. National Weather Service guidance identifies buildings with wiring and plumbing as stronger protection; an open picnic shelter is not a lightning backup. This is national planning guidance, not a local venue rule.
