No. Check facility permission with the operator and confirm the visit separately with us.
A Downsville character visit can start with the birthday child choosing how close to stand and whether to greet or simply watch. Offer a family photo as an option, then invite guests into a short group story or easy movement activity. Keep the celebration flexible so children can step away and return without missing a required turn. Beforehand, decide who will welcome the character and guide guests, and share comfort preferences. Ask us to confirm the requested theme, program details, costs, and availability; a request is not a reservation.
Useful rules and places to check, each with its official source.
Louisiana's Office of State Parks contact page provides a route to make and manage park reservations. Use that official route and the exact park operator to identify whether you need lodging, a shelter or another group facility. Check activity eligibility, access and permission for hired entertainment separately; the contact page does not establish approval or availability for your party.
Official source (opens in a new tab)For any outdoor gathering, arrange an accessible indoor backup before the party. National Weather Service guidance identifies buildings with wiring and plumbing as stronger protection; an open picnic shelter is not a lightning backup. This is national planning guidance, not a local venue rule.
