Let them watch from beside a trusted adult, wave or greet the character when ready. There is no need to rush a photo.
Choose a clear greeting spot, tell guests where to gather and keep a quieter place available. Confirm the program, timing and cost with our team.
No. A request is not a reservation or payment. Ask us to confirm availability and the visit details.
In Hall Summit, build the party around a calm arrival rather than a packed schedule. Ask us about a character visit that begins with a wave from a little distance, then lets your child choose whether to say hello, pose for a photo or watch first. Keep a clear spot for the greeting and a nearby place to pause. Before choosing an outdoor setting, confirm the exact facility and what it permits; statewide guidance does not verify Hall Summit venues or local policies.
Useful rules and places to check, each with its official source.
Louisiana's Office of State Parks contact page provides a route to make and manage park reservations. Use that official route and the exact park operator to identify whether you need lodging, a shelter or another group facility. Check activity eligibility, access and permission for hired entertainment separately; the contact page does not establish approval or availability for your party.
Official source (opens in a new tab)For any outdoor gathering, arrange an accessible indoor backup before the party. National Weather Service guidance identifies buildings with wiring and plumbing as stronger protection; an open picnic shelter is not a lightning backup. This is national planning guidance, not a local venue rule.
