In Higginsport, make the party plan easy for families to follow if weather interrupts an outdoor gathering. Choose a monitor and an indoor destination before guests arrive, then keep the character visit focused on a low-pressure hello and a birthday photo. Children can join the picture, wave from beside a parent or watch. Ask us about a visit with the date, ZIP code, child's age and requested theme. Confirm program details, cost and availability with our team before treating plans as final.
Useful rules and places to check, each with its official source.
For any outdoor gathering, arrange an accessible indoor backup before the party. National Weather Service guidance identifies buildings with wiring and plumbing as stronger protection; an open picnic shelter is not a lightning backup. This is national planning guidance, not a local venue rule.

National Weather Service guidance calls for a designated weather monitor; confirm a practical route to the backup space with the venue. This does not establish local permits, shelter reservations or entertainer availability.
