Yes. Make watching from a caregiver's side a welcome choice, with a wave or brief hello as optional first steps.
Photograph the birthday child first, then offer small-group turns. Allow the child to step away whenever needed.
Confirm capacity, layout, booking conditions, and whether hired entertainment is allowed. Ask us for visit details, then confirm cost and availability with our team.
For a Mineville celebration, make the visit easy to follow: welcome the character, give the birthday child time to observe, and offer one simple group activity. Participation can mean waving, answering a question, or simply staying close to a caregiver. A planned photo sequence helps prevent a crowd around the child. If you are considering an outdoor shelter, verify its fit and permissions directly. Ask us about the requested character theme, and confirm program details, cost, and availability with our team.
Useful rules and places to check, each with its official source.
New York State Parks describes a range of pavilion and event rental sizes and amenities. Check the exact facility's capacity, layout and regional booking conditions before choosing a gathering plan. Confirm whether a hired character visit and any equipment are permitted; the statewide rental page does not establish that every activity or date is available.
Official source (opens in a new tab)For any outdoor gathering, arrange an accessible indoor backup before the party. National Weather Service guidance identifies buildings with wiring and plumbing as stronger protection; an open picnic shelter is not a lightning backup. This is national planning guidance, not a local venue rule.
