No. Check the specific venue's capacity, setup and entertainment permission directly; statewide guidance does not establish local rules.
For North Bay Shore, make the party easy to navigate before the character arrives. A designated greeting spot, an optional photo area and a quiet place to pause can help children move at their own pace. Invite guests to wave or join a group activity, without putting anyone on the spot. Ask us about the requested costume theme and possible program ideas; confirm all program details, costs and availability with the theme provider. Statewide guidance is not verification of North Bay Shore venues or their policies, so confirm arrangements with the specific operator.

New York State Parks describes a range of pavilion and event rental sizes and amenities. Check the exact facility's capacity, layout and regional booking conditions before choosing a gathering plan. Confirm whether a hired character visit and any equipment are permitted; the statewide rental page does not establish that every activity or date is available.
Official source (opens in a new tab)For any outdoor gathering, arrange an accessible indoor backup before the party. National Weather Service guidance identifies buildings with wiring and plumbing as stronger protection; an open picnic shelter is not a lightning backup. This is national planning guidance, not a local venue rule.
