No. Follow the operator's current process and verify the reservation. A venue booking and a character visit are separate arrangements.
Start with a family photo or a wave from a little distance. Let children approach only if they want to.
Share your date, setting, guest ages and preferred visit length. Confirm the program, costs and availability with our team.
For a Penns Park celebration, make the birthday child's moment the anchor: a gentle greeting followed by a family photo, with the option to stay close to a caregiver. Guests can join one easy activity or enjoy watching. If you are considering a state park pavilion, keep the venue arrangement separate from the character request and prepare the group for a possible indoor move. Ask us about your preferred character theme and share the basics; program details, costs and availability must be confirmed.
Useful rules and places to check, each with its official source.
Pennsylvania DCNR publishes payment conditions for confirmed state park picnic pavilion reservations. Check the current confirmation and cancellation process before treating a requested date as secured. Confirm the exact pavilion, access and permission for hired entertainment with its operator; the pavilion payment and the entertainer's quote are separate arrangements.
Official source (opens in a new tab)For any outdoor gathering, arrange an accessible indoor backup before the party. National Weather Service guidance identifies buildings with wiring and plumbing as stronger protection; an open picnic shelter is not a lightning backup. This is national planning guidance, not a local venue rule.
