Let children choose to wave, watch or join a photo. A parent or familiar adult can stay close while they decide.
Invite children to offer a greeting or pose together, while making watching an equally welcome option. Keep the activity simple.
No. Ask us to confirm availability, program details and costs. A request does not reserve or pay for a visit.
For a Rosewood, Texas gathering, decide first where the character will greet children and where everyone can regroup if plans change. A brief entrance, a wave and one easy group photo can suit children who need time to warm up. If you are considering a state park group facility, verify its current booking process and whether your planned activity is allowed. Ask us about the character theme and confirm program details, costs and availability before organizing the visit.
Useful rules and places to check, each with its official source.
Texas Parks and Wildlife directs visitors to reserve group facilities by phone rather than assuming every booking can be completed online. Check the current process for the exact group facility and describe the gathering and hired entertainment to the park. A phone reservation route does not establish that the proposed party activity is eligible or available.
Official source (opens in a new tab)For any outdoor gathering, arrange an accessible indoor backup before the party. National Weather Service guidance identifies buildings with wiring and plumbing as stronger protection; an open picnic shelter is not a lightning backup. This is national planning guidance, not a local venue rule.
