Questions? Call (866) 306-1384
Tell us your kid’s name and how to say it, what they love, and what makes them shy. Your notes go to the performer with the booking, so the hour is about your kid.
Still wondering? Call (866) 306-1384 and talk to a person.
Start with a friendly greeting at a comfortable distance. Let the child decide whether to wave, talk or come closer.
Pick one spot with a clear approach and exit. Invite small groups in turns, and let children skip the photo if they prefer.
Describe the space and the kind of gathering you have in mind. Ask us to confirm the requested program, costs and availability.
In Ruffner, Alabama, think about the room around the greeting as much as the character moment. Leave a clear route for children and adults, and let the birthday child choose whether to approach or wave from nearby. Guests can join one at a time for a photo or short hello. A state park pavilion is only one example of a facility, so check the exact space and its rules. Ask us to confirm program details, costs and availability.
Useful rules and places to check, each with its official source.
Alabama State Parks lists picnic tables and other features for the pavilion at Roland Cooper State Park. Treat this as one state-managed facility example: check the current layout, access and reservation process for the exact space you are considering. Describe any hired entertainer to the operator and ask whether that activity is permitted before booking.
Official source (opens in a new tab)For any outdoor gathering, arrange an accessible indoor backup before the party. National Weather Service guidance identifies buildings with wiring and plumbing as stronger protection; an open picnic shelter is not a lightning backup. This is national planning guidance, not a local venue rule.
