Ask the venue whether anyone charging for services at a city facility must hold a City of Huntsville business license, and confirm this before the visit.
Huntsville is a large city in Madison County, Alabama, and the venue decision matters as much as the character choice. City parks, recreation centers and shelters are run by the City of Huntsville, so rules come from the city rather than from the county or the state. Before settling on a theme, it helps to know which kind of space you want and whether you need a permit.
Park and facility rules in this part of the guide apply to City of Huntsville properties. If you are looking at a space outside city control, confirm its owner before you assume the same process applies. Ask the parent or organizer to check whether the venue has its own rules for outside entertainers, decorations, or food.
