Questions? Call (866) 306-1384
Tell us your kid’s name and how to say it, what they love, and what makes them shy. Your notes go to the performer with the booking, so the hour is about your kid.
Still wondering? Call (866) 306-1384 and talk to a person.
Ask the performer to begin with a wave from a little distance. Let the child decide when to approach, with no pressure to hug or speak.
Choose one uncluttered spot and tell the photographer when the child is ready. Take a quick family photo before inviting other guests.
Ask about the requested character, possible program ideas, timing, cost and availability. A ZIP code or date request is not a reservation.
In Ruple, plan the character visit around a calm arrival rather than a packed schedule. Let the birthday child watch from beside a trusted adult before choosing whether to wave, talk or join a simple activity. Set aside a clear spot for a family photo, then invite guests to participate at their own comfort level. Before choosing a park or other gathering space, identify its operator and ask about the correct reservation process and permission for hired entertainment. Treat any program ideas as requests to confirm with the theme provider; costs and availability also need confirmation.
Useful rules and places to check, each with its official source.
Louisiana's Office of State Parks contact page provides a route to make and manage park reservations. Use that official route and the exact park operator to identify whether you need lodging, a shelter or another group facility. Check activity eligibility, access and permission for hired entertainment separately; the contact page does not establish approval or availability for your party.
Official source (opens in a new tab)For any outdoor gathering, arrange an accessible indoor backup before the party. National Weather Service guidance identifies buildings with wiring and plumbing as stronger protection; an open picnic shelter is not a lightning backup. This is national planning guidance, not a local venue rule.
