Have the character begin with a group hello, then let each child choose to wave, talk or stay with their caregiver. Avoid making a photo or activity a requirement.
Share the gathering point, the planned indoor backup and when to arrive for the character visit. Keep the schedule flexible in case the group needs to move.
Ask our team about program options, timing, costs and availability. Any activity or special moment needs confirmation before you build it into the party plan.
A weather-ready plan can make a Sciotoville character visit feel calmer for children and adults alike. Keep the greeting brief, let children approach at their own pace and set aside an easy group-photo moment. A simple activity or birthday message can follow if the children are comfortable. Before inviting guests, decide who will monitor conditions and where the group would move. Local facilities and rules are not verified here, so ask the specific venue and our team to confirm details.
Useful rules and places to check, each with its official source.
For any outdoor gathering, arrange an accessible indoor backup before the party. National Weather Service guidance identifies buildings with wiring and plumbing as stronger protection; an open picnic shelter is not a lightning backup. This is national planning guidance, not a local venue rule.

National Weather Service guidance calls for a designated weather monitor; confirm a practical route to the backup space with the venue. This does not establish local permits, shelter reservations or entertainer availability.
