In Sunderland, Maryland, start by choosing a room or outdoor space that can comfortably hold the people you expect. Keep the character's arrival simple: introduce them to the birthday child first, offer a wave or conversation, then invite guests into an optional photo or brief group activity. Confirm the exact location's capacity, setup window and rules rather than assuming another city's facility information applies. Ask our team to confirm the requested theme and visit details before finalizing the schedule.
Useful rules and places to check, each with its official source.
As a city-scoped example within Maryland, Baltimore city recreation centers provide room rental information. Baltimore directs families to their recreation center for room rental information. Check the actual room capacity, permitted entertainment and setup time rather than assuming any recreation center can host the same program. This example applies only to Baltimore's listed municipal facilities; other cities and state-managed parks have separate operators and rules. Confirm the exact venue's reservation process and permission for hired entertainment.

National Weather Service guidance identifies buildings with wiring and plumbing as stronger protection; an open picnic shelter is not a lightning backup.
