Gather guests in a comfortable viewing spot and let the character begin with a wave. Children can approach, greet or simply watch.
Offer one simple group activity and make joining optional. A host can invite children in small groups for photos afterward.
Check facility hours and permission, then share the schedule and access needs with us. Confirm program details, cost and availability directly.
A facility's permitted hours can shape the timing of a Tyner celebration, so check those details before promising a character visit to guests. Allow a little time for children to settle, then plan a short greeting, an activity they can join or observe and an unhurried photo moment. Share the schedule with the venue and the character-visit team. North Carolina guidance here is statewide planning advice, not confirmation of Tyner facilities or local policies. Ask us about theme, program ideas, cost and availability.

North Carolina State Parks notes that facilities can have limited hours. Check the exact shelter or room's permitted use period, layout and reservation conditions before setting the entertainer's arrival and departure times. Ask the park about hired entertainment separately; a facility reservation does not establish approval for all party activities.
Official source (opens in a new tab)For any outdoor gathering, arrange an accessible indoor backup before the party. National Weather Service guidance identifies buildings with wiring and plumbing as stronger protection; an open picnic shelter is not a lightning backup. This is national planning guidance, not a local venue rule.
