Let them watch with a trusted adult or wave from where they feel comfortable. Do not make a greeting, touch or photo a requirement.
Invite them to wave together or join a group photo, while leaving space for the birthday child to have a quiet moment.
Check the location's access and entertainment permission. Confirm the character program, costs and availability with our team.
A Jellico celebration can keep the character visit simple: a warm hello, a pause for the birthday child, then photos or a brief group moment if they choose. Parents can help by setting a clear meeting spot and telling guests that participation is optional. These are statewide planning checks and parent suggestions, not verified city venues or policies. For a state-managed location, check details with its operator before committing. Ask us about your preferred plan and confirm program details, costs and availability with our team.
Useful rules and places to check, each with its official source.
Tennessee's Department of Environment and Conservation identifies its role in managing state parks and natural areas. Find the exact state-managed property and ask its operator about reservable gathering space, facilities and access conditions. Describe hired entertainment before booking; the agency overview does not establish birthday eligibility, event permission or availability.

National Weather Service guidance identifies buildings with wiring and plumbing as stronger protection; an open picnic shelter is not a lightning backup. This is national planning guidance, not a local venue rule.
