Tell us your kid’s name and how to say it, what they love, and what makes them shy. Your notes go to the performer with the booking, so the hour is about your kid.

Let the character greet from a comfortable distance. The child can wave, approach later, or watch.
Choose one brief family photo moment, then invite willing guests to join. Keep participation optional.
Check permitted facility hours first, then coordinate requested visit timing with our team. Confirm details, costs, and availability.
For Rougemont, keep the visit schedule compact so the birthday child is not waiting through a long program. Begin with a gentle greeting and let them choose whether to talk, wave, or stay beside a caregiver. Follow with a brief photo option and invite guests to join in turns. If a facility is part of the plan, check its permitted use hours before choosing arrival and departure times. These are statewide planning checks and parent suggestions, not verified Rougemont venues or local policies. Ask us or our team about the requested theme; program details, costs, and availability need confirmation.
Useful rules and places to check, each with its official source.
North Carolina State Parks notes that facilities can have limited hours. Check the exact shelter or room's permitted use period, layout and reservation conditions before setting the entertainer's arrival and departure times. Ask the park about hired entertainment separately; a facility reservation does not establish approval for all party activities.
Official source (opens in a new tab)For any outdoor gathering, arrange an accessible indoor backup before the party. National Weather Service guidance identifies buildings with wiring and plumbing as stronger protection; an open picnic shelter is not a lightning backup. This is national planning guidance, not a local venue rule.
