Keep the greeting and photo moment simple. Confirm the facility's allowed hours first, then agree on the character program timing with our team.
Offer a wave, short greeting, or chance to watch. Let children join the photo or activity only if they want to.
Check the facility's hours, reservation conditions, and entertainment permission. Confirm costs and availability with our team; an inquiry is not a booking.
In Round Peak, build the character visit around a short, predictable window so the birthday child has time to warm up. Begin with a wave or hello, then offer a photo or a shared activity without making participation a requirement. Set arrival and departure times only after checking the exact facility's allowed hours. North Carolina state guidance notes that facility use can be limited, but it does not verify any Round Peak venue. Confirm venue permission and visit details before sharing the schedule with guests.
Useful rules and places to check, each with its official source.
North Carolina State Parks notes that facilities can have limited hours. Check the exact shelter or room's permitted use period, layout and reservation conditions before setting the entertainer's arrival and departure times. Ask the park about hired entertainment separately; a facility reservation does not establish approval for all party activities.
Official source (opens in a new tab)For any outdoor gathering, arrange an accessible indoor backup before the party. National Weather Service guidance identifies buildings with wiring and plumbing as stronger protection; an open picnic shelter is not a lightning backup. This is national planning guidance, not a local venue rule.
