For a Royerton, Indiana gathering, consider a small welcome before the larger group joins: the child can wave, take a photo with a caregiver, or watch from a comfortable spot. A brief activity afterward gives guests a way to participate without making the visit feel like a performance. The supplied park permit example concerns Indianapolis only, so it does not verify Royerton facilities or policies. Confirm your venue's requirements and ask us to confirm the requested theme, program details, cost, and availability.
Useful rules and places to check, each with its official source.
As a city-scoped example within Indiana, Indy Parks provides permit guidance for private vendor sales. Indy Parks requires permits for private vendor sales. Tell the park what paid services, rentals or entertainment you propose, and check the applicable approval rather than treating all party activities as ordinary park use. This example applies only to Indianapolis's listed municipal facilities; other cities and state-managed parks have separate operators and rules. Confirm the exact venue's reservation process and permission for hired entertainment.

National Weather Service guidance identifies buildings with wiring and plumbing as stronger protection; an open picnic shelter is not a lightning backup.
