For a character visit in Alt de Florida, make the child's first encounter easy to predict. Tell them who is coming and what the greeting might look like, then offer two choices such as a wave or a high-five. A parent can stay beside them while other guests join a short photo moment or simple activity. Share the child's comfort level and your preferred visit flow with our team. Confirm the character theme, program details, cost and availability before making plans. These are statewide planning checks, not verified city venues or policies.
Useful rules and places to check, each with its official source.
For any outdoor gathering, arrange an accessible indoor backup before the party. National Weather Service guidance identifies buildings with wiring and plumbing as stronger protection; an open picnic shelter is not a lightning backup. This is national planning guidance, not a local venue rule.
Official source (opens in a new tab)Choose an adult to monitor the forecast and decide when to move the group indoors. National Weather Service guidance calls for a designated weather monitor; confirm a practical route to the backup space with the venue. This does not establish local permits, shelter reservations or entertainer availability.
