A visit in Alts de Jayuya can feel easier for a child when the first moment is predictable. Tell them who is coming and offer a choice: greet the character with a wave or watch from a comfortable spot. For photos, let the birthday child stand with a trusted adult and invite other guests in only if they wish. Keep the organizer's plan short, with room for pauses. Ask us or our team to confirm the requested character theme and any program details, costs and availability before you set expectations about activities.
Useful rules and places to check, each with its official source.
For any outdoor gathering, arrange an accessible indoor backup before the party. National Weather Service guidance identifies buildings with wiring and plumbing as stronger protection; an open picnic shelter is not a lightning backup. This is national planning guidance, not a local venue rule.
Official source (opens in a new tab)Choose an adult to monitor the forecast and decide when to move the group indoors. National Weather Service guidance calls for a designated weather monitor; confirm a practical route to the backup space with the venue. This does not establish local permits, shelter reservations or entertainer availability.
