Let them stop, watch or return to the greeting later; keep the visit free of pressure.
Start with the birthday child and family, then invite guests in only if the child is comfortable.
Confirm the program, timing, costs and availability with us or our team before sharing details.
For Alts de Penuelas, keep the character visit simple enough that the birthday child can settle in before the group joins. A quiet hello with a familiar adult nearby can lead to a wave, conversation or family photo, depending on the child's mood. Let other guests know that watching is welcome and participation is optional. Prepare one organizer to guide the moment and keep the schedule flexible. Ask us or our team to confirm the requested character theme, program details, costs and availability; do not treat possible activities as guaranteed.
Useful rules and places to check, each with its official source.
For any outdoor gathering, arrange an accessible indoor backup before the party. National Weather Service guidance identifies buildings with wiring and plumbing as stronger protection; an open picnic shelter is not a lightning backup. This is national planning guidance, not a local venue rule.
Official source (opens in a new tab)Choose an adult to monitor the forecast and decide when to move the group indoors. National Weather Service guidance calls for a designated weather monitor; confirm a practical route to the backup space with the venue. This does not establish local permits, shelter reservations or entertainer availability.
