A character visit in Alts de San Jose can feel easier when children know what will happen next. Have the character arrive with a friendly wave, allow the birthday child to choose a greeting or photo, then invite guests to join a simple call-and-response or pose. Watching quietly is a valid choice too. Organizers can help by sharing the party timeline, guest ages and any weather plan when they ask us. Confirm the intended program, costs and availability with our team.
Useful rules and places to check, each with its official source.
For any outdoor gathering, arrange an accessible indoor backup before the party. National Weather Service guidance identifies buildings with wiring and plumbing as stronger protection; an open picnic shelter is not a lightning backup. This is national planning guidance, not a local venue rule.
Official source (opens in a new tab)Choose an adult to monitor the forecast and decide when to move the group indoors. National Weather Service guidance calls for a designated weather monitor; confirm a practical route to the backup space with the venue. This does not establish local permits, shelter reservations or entertainer availability.
