Offer two simple choices, such as a wave or a photo. Let the child decide in the moment, with no need to perform.
Invite them to join a gesture, answer a friendly question or watch. Keep participation optional and suitable for the group.
Provide the party date, schedule, address, ages and setting. Confirm the program, costs and availability with our team.
For Alts de San Pedro celebrations, keep the character moment short and welcoming at first. The birthday child might choose between a wave and a photo, while other guests can join a simple movement game or cheer from their seats. A quiet place nearby can help children who want to observe before participating. As organizer, send us the schedule, location and party setting in advance. Ask our team to confirm program details, costs and availability rather than assuming a particular activity is included.
Useful rules and places to check, each with its official source.
For any outdoor gathering, arrange an accessible indoor backup before the party. National Weather Service guidance identifies buildings with wiring and plumbing as stronger protection; an open picnic shelter is not a lightning backup. This is national planning guidance, not a local venue rule.
Official source (opens in a new tab)Choose an adult to monitor the forecast and decide when to move the group indoors. National Weather Service guidance calls for a designated weather monitor; confirm a practical route to the backup space with the venue. This does not establish local permits, shelter reservations or entertainer availability.
