Let them stay with a trusted adult and watch first. A wave or a photo from a little distance can be a complete greeting.
Invite everyone to join one brief group activity, then offer photos as an optional next step. Keep another familiar party activity available.
Ask the venue about access and activity permission. Confirm the character program, costs and availability with our team before planning around them.
A Donalsonville party can give the birthday child a choice about how the character visit begins: a wave, a short greeting or watching from the side. For a manageable program, plan one shared activity and leave room for a few photos without making every child take a turn. Before choosing a setup, find out what the actual gathering space allows. Ask us about a character theme, then confirm program details, costs and availability with our team.
Useful rules and places to check, each with its official source.
Georgia State Parks distinguishes different gathering facilities, including enclosed group shelters and open picnic shelters. Contact the relevant park before reserving to verify the actual room or shelter amenities, access and conditions. Confirm permission for hired entertainment; an enclosed facility listing does not guarantee that every proposed party activity is allowed.
Official source (opens in a new tab)For any outdoor gathering, arrange an accessible indoor backup before the party. National Weather Service guidance identifies buildings with wiring and plumbing as stronger protection; an open picnic shelter is not a lightning backup. This is national planning guidance, not a local venue rule.
