A comfortable setup is the starting point for a Raymer character visit. Before planning an entrance or game, consider where children can gather without crowding and whether there is room for a photo moment. Give the birthday child a choice between greeting the character, posing with family or watching first. Guests can join a simple wave or group picture if they wish. Ask us about the requested costume theme, then confirm the actual program, cost and availability. Check the chosen gathering space directly before building the schedule around it.

Colorado Parks and Wildlife explains that group-area amenities vary by state park. Check the actual shelter, surface, seating and access arrangements for the chosen group area before planning games or a character entrance. Ask the park about the proposed hired entertainment and any event procedures; listed amenities do not establish approval or availability.
Official source (opens in a new tab)For any outdoor gathering, arrange an accessible indoor backup before the party. National Weather Service guidance identifies buildings with wiring and plumbing as stronger protection; an open picnic shelter is not a lightning backup. This is national planning guidance, not a local venue rule.
