Yes. A wave, watching nearby or joining a group cheer can all be comfortable ways to take part.
Tell our team the birthday child's preferred name, any greeting preferences and the planned location.
No. An overnight reservation does not establish event permission or entertainer availability. Confirm details with the property and our team.
For a Russell, Kentucky celebration, keep the character greeting warm and leave room for children to join in differently. The birthday child might wave, take a photo with a parent nearby or watch first. Guests can share a short cheer without being called on individually. If your plans include an overnight stay, treat that booking separately from permission for a gathering or entertainment. Ask us about the character theme and confirm program ideas, costs and availability with our team.

Kentucky State Parks' FAQ describes reservations for lodge rooms, cottages and campsites. If the plan includes an overnight stay, check the current booking and cancellation conditions for that accommodation. Contact the actual park about separate gathering space and hired entertainment; an overnight reservation does not establish birthday eligibility or event permission.
Official source (opens in a new tab)For any outdoor gathering, arrange an accessible indoor backup before the party. National Weather Service guidance identifies buildings with wiring and plumbing as stronger protection; an open picnic shelter is not a lightning backup. This is national planning guidance, not a local venue rule.
