A wave from the child's chosen spot is enough. Let them decide whether they want to move closer.
Offer a simple turn for a greeting or photo, while making it fine to watch instead.
Ask the venue about space and activity permission. Confirm character, program details, cost, and availability with our team.
A Rowsburg party can give the birthday child a special moment without putting them on the spot. Have a familiar adult welcome the character, then offer the child a wave or a photo from a comfortable distance. Guests can join in one at a time, or simply watch. For outdoor plans, prepare a weather decision maker and an indoor route before the gathering. The available guidance is statewide planning advice; city facilities and policies are unverified. Check venue permissions and ask our team about program details, cost, and availability.
Useful rules and places to check, each with its official source.
For any outdoor gathering, arrange an accessible indoor backup before the party. National Weather Service guidance identifies buildings with wiring and plumbing as stronger protection; an open picnic shelter is not a lightning backup. This is national planning guidance, not a local venue rule.

National Weather Service guidance calls for a designated weather monitor; confirm a practical route to the backup space with the venue. This does not establish local permits, shelter reservations or entertainer availability.
